Re-using a MB from a previous trip

Am I correct that if an active MB is assigned to me (from a previous trip) and I have an upcoming stay (Dolphin so no new MB) with a ticket also linked to me in MDE then I don't need to do anything else to use that MB for my trip?

Can I reassign that MB to a different friend/family member?

1-Yes
2- You cannot reassign an MB that has been already assigned.
