Re-thinking a dinner res. at BBQ

I have made a res. for 6:30pm at Big Thunder BBQ Ranch and I am second guessing my timing. Although the schedule is not up yet, (Oct 6), I am assuming from the previous week that DL will close at 8:00.

The reason I am thinking of changing is, if we eat for an hour, we will be leaving the ranch around 7:30 which would only give us 1/2 hour left at the park. Maybe I should change res. to 4:30- be done at 5:30 and still have time left after supper to use up our fastpasses that we have collected throughout the day.

What would you do?

We pretty much only did 2 meals during our trip.....late breakfast & early dinner. We did the BBQ at 4:30pm & were done in time to get a spot for the 6:30 parade that night. I'd go with an earlier time!!

Maybe you should make the reservation for as close to 8 as possible. It will then take the least amount of time away from rides and allow you to stay in the park the longest.

I would make it earlier or later to not lose that park time. :)
