it is a shame that you cannot swap your ts credit for cs credit, as i think this would help us and also disney in making the most of the ddp, there is a limited number of adr,s, and most people do not want to plan there holiday around there meals, finding this a real chore:laundy: i know this is not a question, but a rant.:headache:

How about booking a few breakfasts such as Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's and Boma then once done you ahve the day to yourselves? Or in the evening if at a mod/value and abck early order pizza in as that uses 2 adult TS's. That could solve a few issues as then you could use the CS for evening meals if eatten a big brekkie.

my ds 14 is a really fussy eater, does love pizza, have considered doing the pizza delivery a couple of times, the dinner menus do not seem to have a wide range for all the family to enjoy, the breakfast does seem like a good idea, having never been to disney before, would my ds 14 and dd 12 enjoy the charater breakfast, ds 14 going on 30, any suggestions where to eat for breakfast, sorry to seem like such a novice, but all your suggestions are really appreciated.

thanx andrea

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is non character and a great breakfast with loads to try. As for character brekkies anyone will enjoy them and you can interact as much or as little with the characters as you want to. Also why not try ESPN on the Boardwalk they do not accept ADR's so maybe a late lunch?

just been on the menu site, espn sounds good, prefer steak and good meals myself, but do not want to sit down at a good restaurant, and ds not eat, this holiday is all about ds and dd, the suggestion of breakfast and lunch is probably more what we are looking for, will be trying

raglan road
planet hollywood
house of blues
in the evening

sci fi diner
50s prime time
lunch time

my birthday is on the 28 aug what do you suggest. for ds dd and dh to enjoy thanx andrea

ps in the evening

Planet Hollwood is good for an evening as would be Raglan Road. If you like Steak would the kids also be ok with that? If so try the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club, although it does use 2TS credits!

Oh and Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club may be ideal for lunch.

My sister is a fussy eater too, and on a couple of occasions last year we went to places when she didn't like anything on the adult menu. In those cases, she either had something from the children's menu or the server was kind enough to find something in the kitchen for her that she would eat. Bet you didn't know they served pizza at Hoop Dee Doo! haha!

Anyway, the point is, this year we are going to several restaurants we wouldn't normally go to because there is nothing normally she would eat. She is now secure in the knowledge that even if there is nothing on the written menu that she will eat, there will be some alternative that can be whipped up, whether it be a child's meal made adult, or something else. :D

We find the buffets the best option for the TS since you can just pick and choose between what you do and do not want to eat. Generally we go for the breakfasts, since we are a family that very much pigs out on breakfast, then go all day on just water, but there are a few dinners around too :)
