I'm going to respond in a new thread to keep the orginal on topic.

your post:

I have to agree. It's one thing to save a chair or 2 at the water parks but a table is different, especially in the resort pools. When we've gone to the pool, we usually get some lunch for me, DH, and DS-4. We can never get a table to eat at b/c people have them saved. This was a big problem at Vero Beach, where there was not many other places to eat lunch.

We sat down at one of the tables just to eat and then we were going to leave. Up until that point no one was near the table for a long time. (We tried to sit on the ground, but DS was 1 1/2 at the time....I'm sure you parents know how difficult it is to get a toddler to eat as it is. ) A woman came out of the pool yelling that the table was taken. We told her we just wanted to eat our lunch and that was it. A CM politely put her in her place. Good thing b/c my usually easygoing DH can have a temper if provoked.

OMgosh, does this take me back! Our first onsite trip was 2 years ago. Our dd was 2.5. We choose to stay at CR so we wouldn't have to take her in/out of hot cars. This was our first vacation with her.

We'd eat breakfast together & do a few rides, then dh would usually go back to rent a watermouse.

The first day, we were at Epcot at lunchtime. We went to a lovely counter service place. The CM couldn't be more helpful, he jumped over the counter, carried our tray, helped us get catchup, etc, while I pushed dd in her stroller. It was busy, but we had no problem finding a table.

The next day we were in MK. At lunchtime we go to a counterservice place. I was nearly in tears. I was trying to juggle dd (stroller wouldn't fit into the "ques", carry the food (no lids, they were buy the napkins), get over to napkin station & find a place to sit. The place was a madhouse. No CM would help me even when I asked. The other guests were just trying to push me out of the way. DD was so upset & scared. We finally got what we needed & found a table.

In the future, when dd & I ate lunch alone, we ate about 11, before things started getting busy. And, the MK CM's *still* would not help me.

I can totally relate what it's like to try & eat with a toddler!
