Does anyone know of any good inexpensive steakhouses or Italian Restaurants outside of Disney

Moving this to the Orlando Attractions Forum. Hopefully you can get some help over there. You might also ask on the Podcast forum-- there are some locals there and I know they enjoy recommending good restaurants.

Charley's Steakhouse is excellent. The only thing I would say is go to the one on Sand Lake Road instead of on 192. It is less expensive (not tourist trap) and the filet mignon is out of this world.

I had really delicious food at Pacino's over on 192. Our waitress was phenomenal and the restaurant is really beautiful inside! I had the Penne Arriabiata, it was the right amount of spiciness that didn't bother you. DF had the Fruti Di Mare, which he absolutely loved.

Charley's Steak House (3 locations) - great but not inexpensive. For the lower end cost but still decent steak I'd go Logans

Italian - Giordano's (3 locations) Pizza & Italian. As for "great" italian we haven't found it in Orlando but some are very good.

I have eaten at the Charley's on 192 and I agree, quite expensive. I will look inti the one on sand lake road. Thanks for the reply.

I'm not sure if you mean Logan's Roadhouse. I have eaten there in Fort Lauderdale. It was just okay. The kids love having the peanuts and not worrying about being neat with the shells. I have never heard of Giordano's Italian Restaurant. I will look into it on our next visit to WDW. Thanks for the reply.

Why not The Yachtsman, we love it. We really don't venture off property once we're there but for a few exceptions so I don't have anything to add on the outside.

Carrabbera’s, Restaurant on 192 just west of WDW has great Italian.

Sorry but Pacino's served us the worst food we have ever had the displeasure of eating. Every plate that came to us was disgusting. When we tired to complain the staff weren't interested. We just got the bill, paid and left...............

Oh and i love Logans, its my fav place.

Been to Kissimmee/Orlando 10 times and never had a bad meal there. Off there in 2 weeks and promise to try Charley's, i've walked past it 100's of times be have never gone it.

If you don't mind traveling a bit, Manny's chop house in Haines City has fantastic cuts of meat at rock bottom prices. There's pretty much always a wait there, but well worth it.
To see the menu go to www.mannyschophouse.com Your dinner comes with a bottomless salad and yummy rolls.

Hello, Manny's has by far the best rep for the best steak at the best price...but always and I mean always at least an hour wait!
Not expected it, but one of the best steaks I ever had was at House of Blues!
It was a filet and was perfect for a medium price, like 18-20 bucks, I think...
Lots of good food around...enjoy...Ted
