? re points waitlist

I was just placed on the waitlist for an add-on at BCV. How does that work? I would guess it relies on contracts that have been sold back or DVC exercises ROFR.
Hopefully something will come true. I guess its true what they say, you should buy at the reosrt you like most.

I went on the points waitlist twice for BWV points. Both times I was looking for small point amounts (50 one time and 25 the other time). The first time, I got a call within several weeks that the points were available. The second time, it took quite a bit longer - seems to me it was between 6 and 10 months. I wasn't in a particular rush for the add-on points, so I didn't mind the wait. Gave me more time to gather the cash.

When the points come through, you pay whatever the going rate is for points from Disney at the time. I think it's $84 right now, but I'm not even sure. I haven't been paying very good attention to the prices lately.

Are you looking for a big add-on or just a small add-on? I'm sure ANY additional BCV points will be welcome (I own there too, and love it). Good luck on getting your points!
