? re planning DD's 11th birthday

We will be celebrating DD's 11th birthday at WDW at the end of April.

We gave her freedom to plan the day. She asked for a MK day, eating at Kona Cafe and Whispering Canyon Cafe as well as the fireworks.

MK opens early so I thought we could go first thing and then head to Kona for a later breakfast. Then back to MK and over to WCC for 7pm dinner. When booking the ADR for WCC they mentioned to make sure to allow enough time to reach the restaurant. Is the transportation bad to Wilderness Lodge?

Now I am worrying that we will not have enough time to eat dinner and head back to MK for the fireworks. (which are at 10 pm that night)

Can anyone let me know if I have just planned too much for one day?

We really want to do WCC. Have heard many good things...

WL transportation is fine--it's a launch. I would say that it is no faster or slower than any other resort's transportation. A lot depends on luck. If you arrive at the dock just after a boat pulls out, it will take you a lot longer than if a boat is just arriving. Same with a monorail or bus. I would give yourself 45 minutes travel time to be safe.

If you're giving her her day, then it's her day. Personally, I wouldn't want to go back and forth twice to restaurants and back to MK, but you are being a great mom! It's only one day.

That makes me feel a bit better.

Now that I think of it. We having pool hopping privileges as DVC members. Maybe we should hang at the Poly pool or at WL for the afternoon. Wouldn't miss our ADR's that way !

Did I mention that we are moving to OKW the next day !!! Maybe I should 'schedule' the birthday day one day early so I have the day after to lay at the Boardwalk Pool
