Does anyone know if you have to show the postcard when you check in? Is it like AAA when you have to show your card? I'm asking because the pin code I used was sent to my address but with my mum's name, but the CM said it was OK to use it, but now my DH is worried that we'll have a problem when we check in because my name is different than what's on the card. I'm thinking that they don't ask to see the card when you check in, and my ressie is showing up OK on the Disney website, so no worries. Anyone out there have any experience using these pin codes???? Thanks.

Well I called because i got one to my address in my Cousins name:confused3 She has never lived at my address, but i have made a reservation for her using my DVC points. But I called and was told even though it was for my addess if it did not have my name on it I could not use it.I tried twice and was told the same thing.
So I am not sure what to tell you.

When I made my reservation, I was told that just like with the AAA rate and AP rates you need to have your card or in this case your e-mail/postcard while checking in.

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep a hold of the card and just hope there are no problems at check in with the name being my mum's and not mine. I did have to answer many questions from the CM before he would put the code through so I would hope that he didn't make a mistake. I cancelled another ressie to book this rate, so I think I might cry if there's a problem when I check in. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.:thumbsup2

What kind of questions do they ask? That wierds me out a little. Like how do they have all of this info about you? Where do they get their info from?

The CM wanted me to spell the name and address that appeared on the card (my mum's name/my address), then he wanted my name and the pin code # in the yellow box on the card. After quite some time he said that I could use it and that my mum must have travelled with me to Disney in the past (she has). All of my info is in their computer from past visits (our names, address, phone #, ages,....). I'm not going to relax until I check in now, just in case the check in CM decides that I shouldn't have been able to use the card.
