re:photo missing from contest thread

Hi guys!
Can someone tell me why my photo wasn't in the contest thread? It was on page 4 of the "Perspective" thread as of yesterday - now it's a red x!? Bummed that it missed the contest.

Okay - this is wierd - I went to smugmug to check and all the links were enabled - so I'm wondering what's with my pic not showing up - now I go back and check the original thread - and there it is!! This is wierd - gobblins in the system.

I did not see it in the voting threads. Do you?

If it is not there you will probably be given a pass and sent straight to the final voting round. Woo hoooooo, eh?

I also see red Xs alot lately. I right click them and choose "show picture" and then the pic pops up. Not sure why the board does that.

it's possible that when you checked it before smugmug, was temporarily down or having some sort of problems..

If it's there when I put the voting thread together, it gets included. If it's a red X, it doesn't get included.

Luckily there is 1 slot left in the voting (there are 5 groups with 12 entries and 1 group with 11, you'll get the the 12th) and I need to bump up the other posts anyway to get them back in order.

While we are on the topic, rather than reply to a voting thread or the sticky post please send me a PM with any questions about the photo contest. Please do not reply in the voting threads. At best it changes the ordering of the voting threads at worst it separates them from other threads in the group making it difficult to vote on all photos.

Whether it's your fault, my fault or gremlins on your photo hosting site, I'll do what I can to accommodate your with a minimum of impact to others.
