??? re: OKW pools

Hi! We have our 1st Disney vacation booked for November 6 - 13th. We have reservations at OKW 1BR Villa. I recently heard the main pool will be under construction to build a pool slide and will be closed. My questions are: is there another children's pool at the resort? Our kids are 2 & 4. If not, would you consider switching resorts to BCV or BWV? The only problem I have with that is we would have to rent points from a DVC member, because they did not have openings through CRO for those resorts. We definitely want a 1 BR villa. Have any of you rented through a DVC member? Any tips are appreciated!! Thanks!

We just got back from OKW, building 55. This building is right next to one of the resort's quiet pools. It was WONDERFUL. All we did was walk about 50 steps from our front door to the beautiful pool/spa area. I HIGHLY recommend this location!

You may want to try to get near building 42, which is by Turtle Creek. It's my understanding that this pool is pretty kid-friendly. I'm pretty sure they have an arcade - not sure about a slide.

To date, we've rented points two times from different DVC members. Each time, we had a wonderful experience.

The Old Turtle Pond pool is pretty comparable to the main pool. It has a snack bar, arcade, hot tub and play area. I'm not 100% positive about the kiddy pool. Anyone else have info on that?

Nothing definite has been said yet, but the feeling is that guests may be allowed to use the SSR pool during this time period.
