If I had some premium passes with unused days left, would I be able to trade in the value of these and apply to the new annual pass promotion?

Not sure what you mean by "premium" passes.

If you mean you have Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus passes with unused days, the answer is yes. No credit is given for unused plus options. You can read about the ins and outs of applying the value of unused days on PH & PHP passes to the purchase of a new pass here.

Best wishes -

OK one more question then - thank you for your response. I have a park hopper plus pass actually. Can I use the "Plus" features, then upgrade the using the value of the pass?

Carol, thanks very much for that useful link!

I think you can. It seems to me that one might actually be able to use some plus features for free this way, although I am not sure -- sounds too good to be true!

I will be at Disneyworld *just* before the new discount goes into effect. I'm wondering if I should buy a Park Hopper Plus in order to use the Plus features, and then turn it in after January 2nd towards a PAP. If I do this, it might make sense to buy the Park Hopper Plus directly from Disney, because the tickets from discounters include a markup that can not be applied towards the price of the PAP.

Does anyone know how much of the cost of discounted tickets (such as from Hotwire Savings Club) can be applied to the cost of the annual pass? Basically, the question here is how much of a make-up these ticket wholesalers add.

By the way, I just want to say that I am THRILLED about this discount. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc (I don't want to post on the other thread about this, because it turned into a debate. Sheesh!)
