? re. Illuminations vs. Wishes Cruises

We have done Illuminations cruises twice in the past. We loved them but had a snafu happen at Christmas that resulted in WDW offering us a free fireworks cruise in the future. We will be going in October and are thinking of doing a Wishes Fireworks cruise instead of the Illuminations one. Can anyone offer us any feedback who has done both please? Pros & Cons of both or either would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've done both - and loved both. Since you've already done IllumiNations twice, why not give the Wishes cruise a try? It looks different from the water than from in front of the castle.

My only disappointment from the Wishes cruise was that we couldn't hear the music. Heard they were working on that, though. Hope they find a way.

Also, we were lucky - got to see the Electrical Water Pageant from the pontoon. We could hear the music for that, LOL! What a treat! Maybe you'lll get lucky, too.
