With the new Super Family Rates, (if you sign up for their email to alert you when dates come up, and remember to check the right boxes off for specific specials that you want to receive email alerts for), I am aware that the kids suites are not included in that offer. Unless if it meant that only both the King and Queen suite were not applicable to the offer, as it used to be with the Entertainment/Retro rate, but someone please correct me if I am wrong in thinking this rate will not be applicable for the kids suites rooms.

In this case, it makes more sense (dollar wise) for my family to get 2 adjoining rooms when the rates go on special.

I know for certain they can NOT guarantee adjoining rooms, [in case previous guests damage the room, or in case it needs special cleaning, etc.,] but in the past, we were very lucky to be in adjoining rooms #1711 and #1713 I THINK it was. Premium, Disney view side. Beautiful rooms!

My questions are:

What other room types at Hojo's that adjoin have any of you been able to receive?

Perhaps this question is best answered by Hojo's - TIA - which type of room would give me a better chance of receiving an adjoining room? Edited to add: I know now from this link: http://www.hojoanaheim.com/wp-content/themes/hojo/images/room_layouts.pdf , which 3 room types offer connecting rooms - just trying to figure out which type MIGHT give be the best chance of receiving the rooms as connecting, upon checking in? Thanks, Hojo's.

Are all of the beds now the premium pillow tops?

Do all rooms also include a fridge and microwave? From that link http://www.hojoanaheim.com/wp-content/themes/hojo/images/room_layouts.pdf I can see which ones have microwaves, unless that has changed.

I appreciate your responses. :)

We also had adjoining rooms in the standard rooms (building 3-6.) We actually loved these rooms. While I loved the premium rooms, we come with a different set of needs than most families. The standard rooms come with a roll away bed in a closet. My sister loved the room because the closet was a walkin, and she put the baby's pack and play in there. It made a great "sleeping room" at the time. They had a small deck which the kids loved.

Ha ha, that's cute, the little babe sleeping in the large walk in closet. We would have done the same if our kids were small enough. :) Thanks for your reply, it's good to know it was a great room. Were you on a lower floor then, to get a deck rather than a balcony? Do you recall if the beds were the same as in the premium rooms? I think they are doubles not Queens, but I wondered if they were the premium pillow top mattresses, as my DH has a really bad back and the great premium pillow top mattresses at Hojo's is a real treat for it! Also, was there a fridge and a microwave? Thanks!

Edited to add:

Looks like beds in the room you spoke of are not double, they are 'Full Long Size': and on this website (http://www.mattressinsider.com/mattress-sizes.html) I found these measurements:
(Full XL): 54" x 80"

Compared to a Queen 60" x 80", it's only 6 inches more narrow than a Queen so those beds are pretty wide then.

Yes, they called them "Oversized Doubles". They were very close to the ones in the premium rooms if not the same. And we were on a ground floor (our preference.) We travel with a service dog (60lb golden retriever)for my daughter's hearing. So, it is much easier for us to be on a ground floor room. I loved the premium rooms, and if I was traveling without my daughter, it would probably be my next choice.

Thanks! :) Sounds like you have an awesome dog for your family. Perfect!

Hi there!

Our Super Family rate applies to all room except our suites, so it does not apply to the Kids Suite, King Suite, or the Queen Suites. For any other room, the Super Family rate will work if we have rooms left for the time you are looking at. Remember rooms are on a first come first serve basis, so if you see dates become available for the time you are looking at book ASAP. :)

We will be happy to add the requests for connecting or adjacent rooms; adjacent rooms would be near one another either across the hall or close in proximity to the other reservation. We will do try our best to accommodate these requests, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it. Here are all the room types that we have that connect:

Premium Queen with Premium Queen
Deluxe Queen with Deluxe Queen
Deluxe Queen with Deluxe King
Standard Queen with Standard Queen
Standard over-sized Doubles with Standard over-sized Doubles (best chance for connecting rooms)
Standard over-sized Doubles with Handicap accessible King

We are happy to say that ALL our beds have premium pillow toppers on them. And all rooms, except our Standard over-sized Double rooms, our Standard King rooms, and our Handicap Accessible King rooms have refrigerators and microwaves in them (so Standard Queens, Deluxe, Premium, and Suites have refrigerators and microwaves).

Hope this helps!
