Our next magical adventure will be June 2006.
We will be celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary.

I have heard about re-hitching ceremonies.

How do they work ? What happens.
Our DS & DD will be also with us.

Which restaurants offer re-hitching ceremonies ?
Is one better than the other - or all the same format ?

What would be the cost ?

We are planning to stay at the AKL , if we can get a Disney Visa or AP rate. We can go to any sit down park restaurant or a resort.
I thought dinner would be a good time to re-hitch, or would WDW also do lunch time ?

Some of our favorite restaurants are LTT, Cindy's and H&V.

Has anyone done a re-hitching ceremony ?
Where did you do it ?

I thought 21 years of marriage was nice to celebrate at
WDW. Just wondering the best way.

Thanks for all your responses :) ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

The only rehitching ceremony I have heard of is at Epcot during the ice cream sundae social. The cost of the social, I believe is 7.00 and the ceremony is free but you have to mention that you want to do it when you call to make your ps.
From what I understand, they call you up, say a few silly words and make you kiss while everyone counts to 100. They give you a certificate and a small gift

From what several people have posted, the Rehitching Ceremony is no longer done during the Ice Cream Social, only lunch or dinner at the Garden Grill in EPCOT. Garden Grill is also the only place that does this.

Enjoy your anniversary trip, and all the planning that goes with it!

We'll be celebrating #25, and read that the Epcot Garden Grill does this, the Garden grill is at Future World at Epcot, and according to the Unofficial Guide it is a revolving rest. located on the ground floor, you rotate and watch the tropics, or murals go by... the guide lists price at $15.95 - $19.95 ($10 child) open 11:30 - till park closes.. It also says that the rest. operates via an all youcan eat concept of turkey and flank steak brought to the table on lg platters and served family style.. accompanies include salad bread grilled vegies and potatoes, and remember that the veggies are fresh grown in the Epcot exp. farms...

all this is making deciding difficult - I thought if we want to save money, and not leave dd at a 'club' this could be a cute memory...

Dh and I just did this a few weeks ago with our 5 yr old dd with us. I don't think she was too sure what was going on but it was a pretty quick and simple (but cute) ceremony. Dale was present while we did our kiss to 100 and they presented us with a cute little certificate and a cake (I would have actually preferred their dessert).

It was cute but not really a big, big deal. It was much quicker than I thought it would be, kinda like when everyone sings happy birthday on your birthday.

If it is a slower time I'm sure that more characters can attend, but the ceremony is done at your table. You just need to mention to the CM when making your PS-some don't know what it is-just tell them it's your anniversary and confirm the ceremony when you check in for your PS.
