Re-Gift Exchange Sent/Received

Today is the mail by date. I have sent out the usual reminders to those that haven't checked in.

Hi, macraven! Don't worry about it. That's the fun part of this exchange. Maybe there will be another one later this year and if the person you sent to doesn't need what you sent them, they can re-gift it. Just like the cat and the train.

well, i received my surprise regift today.
first let me say to Rae Jean, i am so sorry this is what you received for your Christmas presents. i bet you cried when you saw them. i hope it wasn't relatives that gave them to you.

i received two bottles of shower gels and one bottle of a body lotion, all unknown names. And a glade candle that you can buy at the dollar store.


i have a skin disorder and allergic to all the chemicals in these gels.

now my big decision, put them in the trash tonight for tomorrow's pick up or wait for another re gifting occassion here......hmmmm, decisions, decisions.........
or i could send them to my mil..............lol


but, i guess this is better than getting an orange cat.......

I am sorry you got something your REALLY couldn't use. Maybe you can regift to goodwill and at least get a tax break?!?!?!

I truly can't believe Rae Jean, powellrj, didn't re-gift the gift she got in the re-gift last year from me. Maybe she found someone else more deserving or she thought you'd appreciate what she sent more.

Mine went out today....get this, 10 and change for 3-5 day delivery or 8 and change for 3-5 week delivery. I picked 3-5 day. DUH! Can you believe that though? 3-5 week????? I would have thought 3-5 week would have been like 2.00. Then, maybe, just maybe, I would have been convinced to go that route.

Seeing as how a lot of folks put multiple items in their package, I wish I had done more! But I only received one item that I didn't need..... in fact, my wife thought that I would enjoy it so much, she bought me 2, by mistake.

Ahh, well maybe next year, I have a bigger bag of goodies to send out!

Right now I feel a little "cheap"....

My gangs finally got mailed today.

I also received mine from aprilgail2. I rec'd a country looking doll that came with some lotion and body wash. also got a santa figurine. These weren't that bad. Actually my DD took off with the body stuff.

you are funny, i burst into laughter when i read that.....lol

don't worry, it won't be recycled. i put them in the garbage can this evening. all here are safe............just have to be careful and watch out for the orange cat!!
