We are planning to use the same strategy that we used at WDW. Early to the parks, FP, mid day break and return some evenings.
My question is this: How do we get back into the park? At WDW, there was the whole fingerscan thing.

It seems like I have read something about handstamps. We will be there in late June, early July. I want to be able to let the kids swim and I know that I will want a shower in the afternoon. How do we do that with a handstamp?

Forgive me if this sounds dumb! Thanks!

When you exit they will stamp your hand. You need the handstamp and the ticket to get back in. I don't think they wash off easily, but you can ask a CM to find out what percautions to take.

"Just have your handstamp and your ticket ready" as the tram would say. And if you plan on driving somewhere else for a while and you paid for parking, just keep that the pass for re-entering.

The hand stamp will not wash off completely and as long as they see something there and your ticket shows as used earlier that day you will be fine.

I used to wonder about the stamp washing off in the past. It'll glow in the UV lamp so though you may not be able to see it in the direct sunlight, the CM will.

We all swam with our hand stamps and they still glowed under the light. We were surprised we had to wait in line so long to re-enter the park. A lot of people there had the exact same idea we did. It was one of the first times I can remember waits to re-enter in all the times I've gone.

Coming back in the evening after a break at the hotel is almost every Disney fanatic's universal rule. :lmao:

Don't worry about the hand stamp it will be fine. I have washed hands many times and it is still there. You might not be able to see it but they put your hand under the light and they will see it.
