I have a couple of questions on Carsland, first, when is it suppose to open? Also on another website I saw a photo of these tire things on the ground and people were tossing beach balls, is this actually going to be a ride in Carsland and if so, what is it called?? Also what is the tye dye place going to be?? Thank You.:goodvibes

Carsland opens on June 15th. The ride you are thinking of is a ride but I don't recall the name. If you go to the thread that started a couple of days ago with Al Lutz's review of Carsland, he said that ride is a little boring. I would post a link but am posting from my phone. Hope any of that helped!

The ride is called Luigi's Flying Tires...No idea about a Tye Dye place...or where it is going to be.

It opens on June 15th. Yes, that is a real ride - Lugis Flying Tires is the name I believe. From what I've read, it's a boring ride and not worth the wait. And on the tye dye place, I'm not sure what you mean.

Edit: I think I found what you mean by the tye dye place, I believe it is called Fillmore's Taste-In. It will be a counter service restaurant.

Be the first on your block to own a Luigi's Flying Tires hat. :earsboy:

Fillmore's Taste-In

From The Disney Food Blog:

"As it ends up, Fillmore’s Taste-In will be a snack kiosk offering on-the-go healthy foods.
Featuring fresh fruit (whole and cut) and beverages (bottled water, juices, soft drinks),
Fillmore — the hippie of Carburetor County — serves up natural fuels from his tie-dyed
geodesic dome home. Groovy, right?!"
- The Disney Food Blog

From Al Lutz's Cars Land Guide 6/5:

"A basic fruit stand and juice bar, that operates entirely outdoors in front of his hippie geodesic
dome. The smoothies and juices were very sweet, and there appears to be some fructose
corn syrup added to the drinks here. It’s not entirely healthy or all-natural, but it’s a clever
little way to offer some fresh fruit and beverages beyond the usual Cokes and beer."
- Al Lutz 6/5/12

Also from The Disney Food Blog:

Fillmore’s Taste-In is being touted as a hippy-style, snack shack!

Service: Counter-Service

Type of Food: Fresh whole and cut fruit

Location: Cars Land, Disney California Adventure

Menu: Fruit, Bottled Water, Juice, Soft Drinks.

Important Info: No seating.
