Good morning all.

Just an update for anyone that's interested. My grandma passed away early this morning.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.

We were in the same spot in 2011. My mil was going of breast cancer. Hospice thought she would pass in sept. Early nov and still hanging in but she was not responsive and had long passed been able to communicate.

We had planned a trip to WDW as a motivation for her chemo that she had in May. Disney or bust. When she found out in July it had spread all over she looked me hard in the eyes grabbed my hand and said you take my grand babies to disney.

So that is what we did. Early November we went for a week. She had Round the clock care already being provided. She passed Nov 30th.

We took some crap for it. People didn't get how we could go and live it up with her dying. But my daughters watched her die in my home - no one but us was going through that. Everyday and night. We desperately needed to be reminded there was happiness in the world. It breathed life into all of us again.

In a little over a week we will be in WDW and I may have to say hello to Mary Poppins. When I was sick and would have to stay with them because parents were at work,
Mary Poppins was the go-to movie we would watch.
