Re-buying into DVC...it's been a while ?'s

Wow...didn't really need that kind of advice. This question was about DVC, not my personal life.
LOL good for you... You will get all kinds of advice on here you dont want. For some reason on here they cant just answer your question without adding this ridiculous stuff.

My advice is that you not buy DVC until you can pay cash for it by yourself.[/QUOTE]

Need I say more.........didnt remember you asking if you should finance or not.

oh my g----d ! JUst stop..people are trying to help you..you started it by opening the door with all your details of your personal life...stop the thread if you don't want sound advice...these are people who know what they are talking about...forget about yourself for a minute and think about the whole picture will you?

I get in trouble for saying stuff.....And they post this.....just answer her questions none of us are Dr Phil....

I have no opinion on your willingness to do this. Instead, I'm equating a financed DVC purchase with a financed home purchase. You should consider the two equivalent. If you would sign a mortgage together, then great! You're ready to buy DVC together too. But, if you wouldn't buy a house together, then this is a bad idea.

It's your (borrowed) nickel, spend it however you want.

The last quote isnt meant to be nice.....Why would you say that. hey moderator do your job.

I toured while @ WDW on Oct. 21st and then signed on Nov. 4, 2008. New member, 160 points @ BLT, closing was $341.89 and I used Disney financing.

For 160 Points at BLT for NON Financing it was 240.00. Hope that helps.

For a Resale you are talking more like 450-800 depending on points and contract.

His quote is perfectly fine. Don't tell the Moderators how to do their jobs. They're pretty good at it.

I would only add that with resale prices so low and continuing to fall there are some GREAT deals to be had... if you can line up some outside financing and you're not sure that BLT is the home resort for you, this is definitely an option to consider. :thumbsup2 Take a look at the offerings from the DIS sponsers.

Good luck with your decision! pixiedust:

Thanks! That is really why we are considering right now. Plus I really would rather BWV or AKV.

I just wanted to offer my best wishes on your decision to purchase.

The world needs all kinds, and there are those who can't be happy unless they are pointing out your flaws. And these people always want to have the last word, just don't acknowledge their sillyness. Good Luck!
