So, this is my first winter in Calgary. As you locals know the last few days have been brutal.
We moved into a NEW home, and since this insane cold has hit I have had huge condensation issues on every window in my home. Yes, I set my humidifier down and use air vents for showering and cooking. We also have ice built up on the inside of the windows. So, I decide to wipe up some of the melting water from my windows and what do I find but a crack in the corner. I call the builder and they tell me to put tape on it until they can come out. Well, just a touch lead the crack from top to bottom. They came out to tape it up, how nice of them.
But, I am wondering this can't be normal? First, I think my humidity system is NOT working correctly and secondly, my window had to be defected? Anyone ever hear of such a thing? I am waiting for the maintenance sup to come out this morning.
Sorry this is so long, but I would love your thoughts.
Thanks
Dawn
