RCL/package and Easter question

Looking at booking a 7 night cruise out of Fort Lauderdale with a 3 night stay at RPR next spring break.

Anyone have any experience with the UO/RCI land and sea package?

How insane would Easter be at the parks?

I checked out Touring Plans and they give 8/9s.

The 2 days at the parks would be Friday and Saturday (March 25th and 26th). Easter Sunday we would be boarding the ship.

Anyone been there on Good Friday? I was wondering how manageable it was doing Harry Potter on the EE and then Express Pass for the other?

I believe it was a Fort L cruise that I was reading about where they embarked on Easter, and it was utter madness. Parks aside, put on your patient hat for embarkation.

And you do know that it's quite a drive from Uni to Port Everglades?

Yup we're okay with the distance.

just debating about doing US on Good Friday/Saturday. Than the cruise (Sunday to Sunday). Drive back on Sunday to go to WDW.
I cannot add on days to the end of the trip. However it seems like we would be just sitting at home on Friday and Saturday so might as well be in Florida.
Originally I had thought of flying in to FL on Saturday, than the cruise, followed by Sunday to Saturday in Orlando but that will be rushed. (1/2 day Sunday followed by 5 days)
We usually spend much more time at the parks.
Just worried that Good friday and Saturday will be too insane. We're use to January/early February crowds.
