RCI Trading Into Saratoga Springs

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs thru RCI, does anyone have any experience in which sections Of property they place you in?
I would prefer to be in Springs or Paddock.

When you call DVC to add your travel party, ask if it is a Standard or Preferred category and get the DVC reservation number to link to MDE. Most exchanges have been Standard as far as I have seen. Congress Park and the Springs are Preferred. Grandstand, Paddock and Carousel are Standard. My last exchange over President's Day week was a Standard and we were placed in Paddock section. For Standard, the only options during online check in are currently Near Carriage House, Near Pool, Near Bus and Grandstand section. We selected near pool, near Carriage House.

As mentioned, the booking category (Standard or Preferred) is set when the unit is deposited, you can call MS (using the toll-free number in the confirmation) to find out which, and DVC will not change it.

They can be drawn from either Standard or Preferred, though it does seem like Standard is more common. All of mine happen to have been Standard. I tend to request Near Pool and Upper Floor, and that's always worked out. (We don't have anyone with mobility limitations, so don't mind an extra minute or two's walk to the Carriage House.)
