RCI Resorts with Shuttles

Hi all. We have decided on a WDW Christmas 2016 trip. I will use my RCI points for our lodging. In the past, we have used RCI points for OKW and Sheraton Vistana and were very happy at both.

As I search for our next trip, do you know of any timeshare properties that provide shuttle service to the parks?

Most of the nearby resorts have a shuttle service to the parks, but at additional cost. If you were happy with the shuttles at either of the Vistana resorts you'll have an idea of what to expect from the other area resorts. You can check under the resort amenities on the RCI site listings to confirm. Aside from Disney Resorts, I think pretty much all of the rest charge for their park shuttles. I know Vistana charges for timeshare users (hotel type stays generally get the shuttle for free).

Personally we never use the shuttles. Times are generally inconvenient, and adding up the cost for a family of four makes paid parking and a car rental look fairly cost competitive.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has a shuttle (for a fee).

However, usually the exchange value for all WDW area RCI resorts is about the same, so I would shoot for one of the DVC resorts. OKW and SSR should be doable, and also several others (BLT, AKV, maybe BWV). I would start out searching only for your preferred resorts. You can broaden your search later without losing your place in line.

DVC has been depositing about 5-6 months from arrival date. Check TUG's Sightings board for the best info. But be advised that DVC has not deposited any 2 bedrooms in a LONG time now.
