We have a confirmed reservation at a DVC resort we made months ago using RCI. This week magically popped up, some have been since DVC no longer uses them. Anyways, we use our points yearly to book our stay for the same week each year. This year they moved the school calendar up 2 weeks and we can no longer go. We would love to ‘offer’ this week to someone but we can’t find a single place to do that where it feels safe for a transaction. Does anyone know any options? I know RCI policy on selling the week, I get it. I’d even take Disney gift cards at this point. We have to rebook for different dates and it’s going to be… expensive. Any suggestions or does DVC stores take any of these reservations? I know nothing because we’ve always used our trips.

You can likely sell it privately, and I know Vacation Strategy sells them on thei site but I believe it's their personal inventory and not being sold on behalf of an individual.

The reason there’s no place to “safely” sell your RCI exchange reservation at DVC is because it is against the agreement you signed to be an RCI exchange member. I believe you can give the vacation to a friend or family member…I assume you might need a guest certificate like they require with Interval International. Interval will let you pay the exchange fee over again and change the resort/week to another resort/time depending on availability. Perhaps RCI also will do that, as well.
I wouldn’t chance losing my membership by breaking the rules.

As @LoveToDisney mentions, you cannot rent your week to anyone else. You can gift it to friends or family, and of course those friends or family might do something nice for you just because.

You do need to buy a Guest Certificate to do this.

You can also cancel the week and get (most of) your timeshare assets back to use for some other vacation. If you are very close to check-in, it might be worth paying for Exchange Protection to get the full value of those assets back.

Thanks so much for all your thoughtful responses! I’ve decided to keep that week and just work from the resort and let the family play and do parks. It’s a huge bummer but we don’t have friends or family to gift it too, or any available to use it at that time: working from Disney is better than being at work, so I can at least enjoy evenings by the pool and resort hopping 😊

There where several reports last year where the renter showed up at Disney only to find out their room was canceled by RCI. So I would not rent it out
