Do RCI stays have to be for one week? Or can we book a 1,2, or 3 night stay?

We have 3 memberships and all 3 have some 2018 banked points. Will all the points be combined into one RCI account? Or will it be 3 separate ones?

I have no experience with RCI at all, so would appreciate any and all help I can get with this. Thanks so much!

It really differs. Some resorts can deposit only single days others deposits weekly stays into RCI. Some even deposits both.

You need to check each resort. If a resort have a week available you need to take all and pay DVC points for all nights however you don’t need to use all even if you have paid for all.

How do I find out more about what's available for single nights? I don't think we would ever be able to stay one week at any place. And we don't have enough points to pay for nights we won't use. Between our 3 memberships, we have 140 total points that will expire on Nov 30th.

You need to sign into RCI through the DVC membership portal.

once you are signed in you can see the currently availability in a specific area for a specific resort.

As per standard RCI will list the nightly point price (IIRC) on the overview page. You then need to click each resort to see what is available for a specific date.

You are probably aware, but just in case, you only need to deposit before they expire based on what I have read on DIS (at least a month ahead for no restriction, I believe). You don't need to book or stay by the original expiration date.
