We're planning a CA trip next summer. We plan to use some points for GC at Disneyland, but have plenty of points to play with and want to see other places. I did see through RCI we could stay at Worldmark Yosemite Bass Lake on points.

First, has anyone ever stayed there?

Also, I have read conflicting things about when I can request this. One place I thought I read 10 months, someplace else I thought it said 2 years. Does anyone know?

Also I do know about the $95 fee. If I have to waitlist for it, do I still pay the $95 fee, even if we don't get it?

Am not really sure we want to go this path, in the past we have only used our points for WDW resorts. But we wanted to check out our options as this will be a really big trip for us.

Thanks for any help you can give!

I've stayed at plenty of Worldmark locations -- but not yet Bass Lake. The Resort Page has good info including unit descriptions, driving directions, nearby grocery/activities, etc. Do note that the units are "town house" style and all are two-level with interior stairs.

Thanks for the info. The pictures look beautiful. Am I correct that the box in that link gives the points?!? I had looked in our current vacation planner, page 55 and I assumed that for a red (high) season a two bedroom would be 32 points S-Thu, and 55 points F-Sa. Those points seem astronomical, but maybe I am misunderstanding, does Worldmark work on a point system?

Yes, Worldmark is a points-system. The grid shown on the resort page are the Worldmark points (aka 'credits') required if you were a Worldmark owner booking direct. Ignore those ... and refer to the DVC/RCI grid instead. ;)
