RCI- how to use points question

I was wondering, can banked and borrowed points be deposited into RCI or only current points? Do they expire in 2 years from deposit date?

DVC has 2 deposit options, request first and deposit first. Unless you're trying to save/extend points, request first is by far the best option and then it doesn't really matter other than you want to make sure you don't miss any banking deadlines. However, if you deposit, any points can be used, however, they have to be able to be used together just like you're making a reservation. Any such deposit would expire in 2 years, however, it appears that the expiration would be 2 years from the following Dec 31 rather than 2 years from the deposit date like it was with II. I haven't confirmed this specifically with DVC.

Per DVC RCI rules for deposit first, the request must be placed no later than the end of the "second" calendar year after the date of the deposited time.
