Has anyone been able to check RCI availability by using the link from DVC's website? It acts like its going to load, but I keep getting an error saying go back to my home page and start over. I was hoping to check what options are available from RCI for some European cities.

No, I think the only way to check active availabiity is by calling MS. The DVC/RCI link is more for information about the resorts themselves and does not offer a means to actually make a reservation.

It was just working for me. Took a little while to load, but I could check availability by location and month/year, up to January 2015.

While I'm on a Mac, it is working for me. Make sure your popup blocker is off. I click on the link for "Booking RCI Destinations Online", then get a popup to acknowledge that I'm leaving DVC. I do have to select which account since I have 2. Then I get another popup where I have to click to acknowledge that I understand the Terms and Conditions and finally I'm in the site. I then proceed to the exchange options and drill down to a given resort where I would have to acknowledge the exchange conditions to proceed. I stop here to avoid any risk of accidentally committing to anything.

Thanks Dean, I'm on a Mac too. I turned off all popup blockers. I click on the link which says I'm leaving to select my account. I only have one account. Do I have to select it I don't see anywhere to select it if I"m suppose to. Once I click to leave the site, it starts to load the RCI site and begins to load the T&C and before it finishes that is where I get my error message.

From reading the directions at the top of the page, it makes it sound like there should be a way for me to select my one account in the first popup. Is that where it is?

Since I have 2 accounts, I'm not sure what it looks like now with only 1 account. If it gives you the choice, I'd select it and continue and see if that does it. However, if I try to proceed without selecting one, it simply doesn't do anything rather than give me an error. I'd make sure you have off your popup blocker which you've done already, clear all cookies and the cache and then restart the computer and try again. If that doesn't work, try a different browser. I'd start with Firefox, then Chrome, then Opera and then lastly iCab. If none of this works, I wouldn't know what to tell you. Keep us updated.

I had an error message when they first put the site up. I'm on a PC and I called MS and told them the trouble I was having. The CM told me I needed to clear my cookies and do a couple of other things. She walked me through how to do it. Once I did that, I haven't had anymore trouble checking RCI availability.

If you only have one account, it will come up and your account number will be listed. If you click on exchange search, you can search by month or property for availability and the actual dates will come up that the property is available with the room type.

I have used it several times over the last couple weeks. One day it froze once you agree that you are leaving the DVC site. It worked on another computer so I turned my laptop off, restarted, and it worked fine.
I can remember the only Europe available this June was in Portugal. Hawaii had a few and so did Australia. Japan had several but not near Tokyo Disney.
The Caribbean had a few also--mostly Dominican Republic.
Click the box for resort exchange availability. If you click on resorts, you will be enticed by many that are not available.
