Our contributions are insignificant when compared to the work you'll do.

It was done with PM's and E-mail, Sideshowbob was challenged to drink a MilkShake and the funds raised went towards your gift. Nothing was done in chat or on the boards other than when hiding in the numbers game or Milkshakeathon threads. Both allowed us to keep those that knew something updated.
