DH wasn’t super hungry when we ate at Le Cellier this past week so he ordered the ratatouille ravioli. When his plate arrived there was one medium sized ravioli on it. There was something small on the side too (we weren’t sure what it was but he ate it).

We laughed about how ravioli could be singular or plural. In the case of Le Cellier, it was definitely singular

Oh well. He got what he wanted...a small meal lol!

Technically, "ravioli" is plural - the singular form is "raviolo". I definitely would have commented to the server if I was presented with that! I assume it was listed as an entree and not an appetizer, right?

I did not know that! Interesting!

I just double checked. It is an entree called Tomato Two Ways. It was more like two Food & Wine size items for $29.

Definitely won’t eat there again...

The California Grill one is probably my favorite item on any WDW menu. BlueZoo's Shrimp and Grits and Shula's Crab Mac and Cheese coming in tied for second and Jiko's filet with (plain) mac and cheese third. I'd happily pay more than what they're asking for the California Grill ravioli it's that good.

Although for $29 what you describe is ridiculous even if it was mind blowingly good.

Now you’re making me want to order it when we go!

We're actually going to California Grill twice on our next trip, once is solely for eating 2 or 3 of these in a single sitting. I'm not proud....

If you like Goat cheese and Romano cheese you will love this. The crispy mushrooms on top are kinda funky but in a good way. Everything goes together really well.
