last yr we saw a number of black rats or mice not sure running around the grassy areas of the park,
I dont know why im posting this but its something that has worried me since and now we are due to go back its freaking me out a little again
has anyone else seen any

I didn't certainly didn't see any this week but to be honest in a place the size of DLP I'd be surprised if there weren't any anywhere. I'm sure they have things in place to deal with it though. I certainly hope so anyway!

I did see a bunny on the grassy bank by IASW! and it was definitely a bunny not a rat :)

We were there 3 weeks ago. We didn't see any rats at all, but we did bait boxes in place in a few areas.

As Walt said:

"I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."

:rotfl2:

In all my visits I have never seen any rats or mice, with the exception of Mickey & Minnie. As previously mentioned its not surprising due to the size of the parks & the amount of water about. Rats go looking for water.

I wouldn't let it worry you. Bait boxes are placed in many public areas to help combat any problem.

I've never seen either but have read on here many times over the years people who have.

I read they have a problem with field mice due to their location and with all the food waste there will be rats BUT there are going to be rats in your home town/village you have just been fortunate to never see them.

Rats are brown though not black these days.

I've never seen any in DLP, but there is other wild life :)

Even if there are any, i'm sure they won't affect your stay/approach you!

Don't worry about it, the only rats i've ever seen in public have been at my local metro/train stations and they really don't want to be near people!

Have a nice trip :)

I saw a mouse in the Disney Village near the lake. It didn't concern me as like others had said it is not surpising.

One evening last fall I saw a quite big rat running across one of the walkways near IASW.

I was a bit spooked first, but as others have said, it probably should not have surprised me.

We saw some rats down near the water in fantasia gardens in front of DLH. Seen them on two trips but only at night. Probably no surprise in an area like that..
