Yey only 8 days to go until we are in DLP!!! I am very excited - we only went in May but that feels like years ago already! It will be really exciting to see the Park in the dark for the first time in years, as well as finally getting to see Wishes which has had a lot of good reviews on these forums :) I hope we get nice weather as it was not too great in May - but I think we will still manage to have a fabulous time anyway!! It's also my last week at work this week as I'm going back to Uni in september, so will be a nice way to celebrate :cool1:

I wondered - am I alone in sometimes feeling guilty to admitting that you are going to DLP to your friends/colleagues or whoever? I get the strangest looks sometimes when I say to people oh we're off to Disneyland again, and some say 'AGAIN?? You only went 3 months ago!!' This has happened so often in fact that sometimes I do not even bother to tell people to avoid justifying my holiday! I mean, what is the difference between going to DLP loads and returning to the same beach year...after year...after year? Now THAT'S my idea of boring!

But anyway never mind because I am so excited!!! :Pinkbounc

Woohoo :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Have a great trip.

I get the "your going again!" from my mum and sister, I have been 3 times in less than a year and I have my 4th trip booked for next year. I have not told my mum about our next trip, as I can not be bothered justifying it.
We are going to wdw next year and she said "why would you want to go to wdw when you have been to DLP!".

oh, i know exactly what you mean. I hear that "Again" from most of my friends and my family, too. SOmetimes it is linked with some rolling eyes or a head-shaking or a awkward giggle. And secretly they think I'm bananas. But i don't care. The main thing is I'm in Disneyland and I have a blast and they don't have a clou what they miss. :Pinkbounc

I wish you have a great time there! :thumbsup2

Tell me about it! I do get some very funny looks when I tell my work colleagues I'm 'doing Disney' again this year. Perhaps they think a childfree 40 somthing ought to have something better to do with her leave time! :lmao: :lmao:

Yes exactly to all of your comments - its an utter pain!! And then they think you are even more weird if you say you aren't going into Paris as well!

It is a really big shame because it is only my Mum and I that go because my Dad repeatedly says 'it isn't his thing', but I am sure when he is there he would love it :( Until you go you will simply never understand it I suppose - how can you explain the magic? I can't bear the thought of being married or with someone in years to come and have them not love Disney - it just wouldn't be worth going with someone who doesn't really 'get it' too!

Has anyone had this problem?

Eeeek! Look at my ticker!!!! We're bouncing off the walls with excitement!!

Love and luck to everyone who is off to the magic soon!!!!

ARGHHHH!!!! you must be so excited!!! Wow have a fantasticccc time, looks to be lovely weather too :sunny:

Have fun!! :rainbow:

Have a fab time!

I don't judge other peoples holiday but it does get me cross when people say disney is tacky and its much better to be sat on a beach...no way! Now that to me is boring!

Thank you! It's our first DLRP visit so we are v v v excited! Not looking forward to the 5am start though :lmao:

I'd have Disney over a beach any day. Don't let other folks 'disapproval' bother you. As long as you enjoy yourself nothing else should matter.

Your first visit? Oh I'm so jealous I wish I could see the park for the first time all over again! Have you visited any of the other parks before?

I know, that 5am start is a killer - I believe we have to LEAVE at 4am next Thursday which means up around 3am...Is it even worth sleeping?! :rotfl2:

@ donnababe and Tinkerbell36: have a magical trip! You will love Wishes. :wizard:

I`m so glad to read I´m not the only one to get strange looks from friends and family when telling them about another DLP trip. Actually I just talked to a friend today who visited DLP last year and told her I will try to make a christmas trip and she asked if DLP doesn`t bore me because I`ve been there 4 times?! :confused3 How can you get bored in DLP?
The strange looks also made me keep the plan for a christmas trip to myself. And they are the reason I am so glad to have found the DIS.

Been to WDW twice, in '94 and '04 :cool1: I seem to be extra excited but this trip though for some reason!

I know I will not be able to sleep tomorrow night. We were going to get the Tube into Waterloo but decided it would be less hassle (and not too much more expensive) with a cab taking us straight into the station.

I know exactly where you are all coming from. I said to someone today that I was a little down because it will be at least two years before we will be able to return to DLRP. Their answer was well, you're going to WDW next year and you've been to DLRP 3 times in the past year so you must be fed up with it all by now.:scared1: :scared1: Fed up with it??? :scared1: :scared1: Some people just don't understand........ :sad2:
