We are planning a Spring Break trip for March 2004. I was wondering what kind of rates you recieved this past March. Trying to plan ahead of time. I know this is Peak season, so any discounted rates would be great. We are looking at 4 nights Poly conc. then 3 nights at Akl.
Thanks!

We paid rack for three nights, then 50% off on night four when we extended our stay. However we did not use any codes and booked like rookies.

So we paid $299 for 3 nights and then $150 for the fourth March 9-13 for an average of $262 per night - I think we could have done better - we booked through WTDC and did not ask if there were any discounts :( - sigh

Not next time!

Thanks
Jason

We paid $119 a night for CBR and had actually booked through Expedia. Found out later there was a general code out for $109 a night. This was 3/5-3/12 and there was also a HUGE difference in the amount of people from the start of the trip to the end of the trip.

We paid $266 at AKL for a savannah view room 3/10-3/16.

I looked into planning for next March, too, but the Disney people told me that rates will not be out until October for 2004! Is this right?

Mainebound, I think you are correct. We have always gone during value season- cheaper and less crowds. I'm planning early for this one because I know there will have more crowds. I will be teaching full time next year, so I can only go when kids are out of school.

We didn't go March 2003 but watched the rates as we've gone in March 2 times previously. In 1999 we paid rack rate at POFQ. In 2002 we were able to get AmEx rate of $121/nt for CBR. There were absolutely no other discounts available AP or code for us. If you look at Mary's website mousesavers.com and go to frequently asked questions she has the historical rates released for the last 2 years or so so it should help too. We love the weather in March and have always had a great time...have fun!:)

we were in wdw from 3/16 - 3/23. we had a rate of $109 at CBR.
the crowds were good. we usually go in May, so it was a little more crowded than we're used to, but all in all, it was less crowded that I'd expected. The weather was great too!
