What is going on April 15,16? The rates go way up at all three onsite hotels on those days compared to earlier weekends. Is this the first weekend of "high" season?

April is an expensive month since there are floating spring breaks through it.

That's exactly when we're going and I thought the same thing. I booked a room at RPR anyways -- hoping for a AAA rate but not counting on it. I'm thinking if the rooms are that expensive, the express passes would be too so it will be worth it to stay on-site. At least that's how I'm justifying the cost :) We've never stayed on property before and I'm looking forward to it.

It's also the weekend before Easter. I know the 2 weeks around Easter are peak times for Disney so I am assuming the same is true for UO.

Booked RP for the night of the 14th....paying about $340. Hoping for an annual pass discount to come out before that. I was going to just stay offsite but when I figured in the cost of fotl passes for the three of us, for both days, I figured it was actually cheaper to just stay onsite and not worry about it.

That sounds like holiday rate, I'm paying $334 for RPR Dec 26-29, they did, however, bump me up to water view though so I guess that's something!

That's what I figured. I know it's high but assumed it was because Easter is a week later and large crowds are to be expected. Any discount I can get is going to be really appreciated....can't wait for an AP discount to come out.

There does not seem to be any AP rates available yet after December 2010. When do they normally get released?
