Rates for Concierge at AKL

I am just wondering what kind of discount you guys think will come along for the concierge rooms at AkL in late Sept. (Sept. 30th) I only need one night and hope to get it for less then the 435.00 a night I have seen. What kind of rates have you gotten for this type of room? I really want to do the sunrise safari and this would be my best chance since I will be off-site the rest of the trip. Thanks for all help, Melissa

We stayed concierge level in November and the rate came down about $100/night with the annual pass holder discount. We also did the sunrise safari and had a wonderful time.

Hi,

I was quoted an AP rate of $385 a night inc tax for the current winter value season. This is an increase of over $100 a night inc tax over winter value season of 2004. Since Sept is the late summer/early fall value season the rate should be around $385 inc tax with an AP rate.

We're paying $491 with tax in May. AAA rate.
