I know this is advanced planning but we want to cruise in 2007...does anyone have guesses on when those rates come out? :earboy2:

Thanks!

Hang out on this board and you will probably get a heads up for when they are coming out (but only by a day or so). A lot of us are waiting for 2007 rates. I know exactly the dates and the room we want for 2007, just need them to release it!

Rates and dates usually come out about 15 to 18 months before the sailings. Look for 2007 in the fall of 2005.

Spoke with a Castaway Club rep yesterday and she said tentatively they would release the schedules for the first three months of 2007 in Sept. and the rest later in the year.

I love keeping "posted" on this board!!! We are hoping to sail in 2007 too...would like to travel sooner...but have to save the $$ before we can go! :teacher:

We are also waiting for 2007---does anyone know when peak season starts for the springbreak--we went on the 7 day eastern this past January and really lucked out with the weather. But, we would like to go a little later in February/early March? DO the prices really jump then?

Thanks everyone! This will be our first DCL trip and we're really excited! :cheer2:  We're going to try to do it over DD's spring break. Any tips for first-timers? Should sea sickness be a concern?

One tip is to book as soon as the prices come out. We booked in October for our spring break in 2006 (which isn't the week of Easter, but is the last week of March). The 7 night has gone up a LOT, but we booked the 4 night and it has gone up $500 already also.

There is a bit of roughness the first and last nights of the cruise when the pass by a certain area. One of the CMs in the store told me that always happens. I am very prone to sea sickness, but it isn't enough to make me miss dinner or anything (and that has happened to be 3 times, missing dinner due to being sea sick--no one else in my family has this problem though).

Once you book, try to go to the Cruise Meet board. The 7 night ones are more active. You may be able to find other Dis Kids for your DD to meet before the cruise. This has worked good for my DDs on our last two cruises. I am hoping there will be more Dis Board members joining us in 2006, so far my thread isn't very active. Like I said, the 7 night ones seem to be more active and they tend to have 'meets' and get togethers.

Good Luck! And enjoy your cruise (I know you will)!

Thanks everyone! I'll be on the lookout for rates in September.

DJ, we're in Indiana too - Hoosier neighbors. :goodvibes

Not far away at all! We are in Muncie!

I noticed that RCCL has 2007 spring break rates (March anyway, I didn't check any other months). I have thought of trying them, but the family wants to stay with Disney.

Add me to list of those waiting. The closer we get to September, the more anxious I get. Hoping we won't be waiting on pins and needles for too much longer.

Hi. Just curious what Eastern you were on? We were on the January 22nd Eastern. We had great weather as well, so I wondered if you were on our cruise.

What do you think the chances are of posting the 2007 rates during the repo back to Port Canaveral? If this happens it would be awesome! Of course I would run right away to the internet and let all my Dis friends know too!

We were on 1/8-1/15. The weather was great!!! We did not have one bit of rain and the temps were always perfect. The castaway cay water was a bit cool, but it didnt stop the kids from swimming.
We would like to go again in Feb 07-preferably later in Feb or early March before the spring break rates begin. I thought that would "guarantee" better weather, if there is such a thing.
