Can anyone give me an idea of how much you paid per night (including all taxes/fees) at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for a 2BR? I am just gathering info for a trip that is likely pretty far into the future, but I am curious how the rates compare to Windsor Hills or other similar accommodations.

Depends on the time of year of course, we always go during the Value season weeks and pay $90-100/nt for Deluxe and $120/nt for Presidential. Prices increase a small amount year to year. That's what we are paying this year.

During prime season, I've seen prices posted from $120/n and up for Deluxe. I wouldn't plan for it, but sometimes you can nab good deals on Ebay from reputable sellers 60 days or less from arrival date.

One thing to keep in mind in your estimates is that the majority of WBC quotes will be all inclusive of fees, tax, reservation charge. At Windsor Hills, this is not usually the case. Be sure to include those add'l fees.

We look at Windsor Hills every year, but anything that we would like to rent ends up being a fairly higher total cost than WBC.

I just looked at rates today for July .. and they are crazy

Deluxe king or queen standard room - $179
Deluxe Queen/Queen Bunk - $209
Grand Deluxe King - $189
Grand Deluxe Queen/Queen - $199
1 BR Parlor Suite - $398!!!! :crazy2:

No 2 BR available for my search dates but still those rates are pretty high in my opinion.

I live just across the state on the Nature Coast and visit Orlando to stay and we usually prefer the Sheraton Vistana Villas or Orange Lake Resort

We are staying at Orange Lake this year, in the new section with the water park, in a 2 BR villa ... $150/night. that includes my Travel Agent discount BUT the normal rate was only $179/night for normal.

These are for the hotel and not the timeshare resort. Prices are much lower for the timeshare resort.

So where/how do you go about booking the TimeShare resort?

I'm a Travel Counselor and I guess I don't have access to that???

I'm not sure if this is the best way, but I compared the rates posted on Wyndham Bonnet Creek's site to the quotes provided by Vacation Strategy and Vacation Upgrades (both rent points on behalf of Wyndham timeshare owners.) Then I picked the least expensive one.

My rate, including all taxes and fees, works out to $137 per night for a two bedroom deluxe - sounds like a lot, but is actually about $150 less for our 13 night stay that staying at POP would have been, for a lot more space and a kitchen.

For 4/12 - 4/22/12, we paid $120/night from Vacation Upgrades for a 2 bedroom. That included taxes.

I have paid as little as $89 a night for a 2br/2ba Deluxe and as much as $138 for the same. The higher price was during summer, but was booked within 60 day window.

I usually look at Vacation Upgrades, Vacation Strategy and Sun or Snow Vacation Rental. Been there 4 times, most trips we have been in spring and paid no more than $100 per night. i have used Sun or Snow 3 times and recently just used Vacation Strategy. Both were great to work with.

We are paying $89/night for our next trip, inclusive of taxes/fees. I think it largely depends on when you go--it's seasonal just like staying on-property at the Disney resorts.

When we priced a week stay in a 2 bedroom through Vacation Strategy for a six night stay beginning Nov 28, it was $625. In the end staying on site won, but if we go back I will definitely look into it.

I booked through vacation strategy . We are leaving in 5 days, so it is probably considered summer/peak season. I rented a 3 bedroom for 170.00 per night. Which I think is awesome, considering I was paying 200+ per night at POR.

I've booked with Vacationupgrades for the first time....due to the glowing recommendations here. I got a 2br deluxe for $120/night(his 60 day discounted rate) for 2 weeks in July. I did contact Ken in advance and let him know that my budget would only allow for the $120 rate and he held all my info and then booked for me at the 60 day mark. He didn't think it would happen but it did. I'm very happy that he was willing to go the extra mile to help me.

BTW...his rate for July is $200/night.

Vacation strategy 10 nights May 31-June 10th $1401 2 bedroom, 2bath, kitchen, washer/dryer.... This trip we are looking to slow the pace :lmao: and enjoy the resort more and WBC looks amazing.

We are staying for 7 nights in November and paid $650 for a 2BR = $93 per night.

I paid $200 for 4 nights for the upcoming week thru ebay for a 2BR and $270 for 4 nights for a 2BR presidential the week after (thru ebay as well). I needed 2 nights to bridge the two ressies and the seller offered 2 nights in a standard 2br for $150. So total= $620 for 10 nights (6 in standard 2br and 4 in presidential 2br). This is the best deal I've seen thus far, hope it's legit ;)

We will be arriving just after Thanksgiving and staying a week @ $120 a night for a two-bedroom deluxe. Once you have made your reservation, they will try to re-book the reservation at a lower rate if possible.

If you book for a full 7 day week, not only is there no guest fee, but they can make the reservation a full 13 months from date of arrival.

We are arriving on June 10 and staying 7 nights. We paid $1095 through Vacation Strategy.

We are paying $1749 for 12 nights during peak season (March/Spring Break 2013). We booked through Vacation Strategy. Their original quote was $250 more, but they were willing to offer a price match for the lower quote.
