The girl I talked to when I booked the rate said that the senior citizen must be present at check-in and check-out. She did say that we could keep the credit card in my name, but that my mom would have to be there.

that is what happened to us in Dec 2001 .. I paid w/ my cc and my mom had to show her drivers lic.. saying she was 50!
