So, my family recently stayed at WL CL and became CL Converts!!! I find it very interesting how each CL offers nuances in food offerings, etc... in terms of it being specific to the resort.

How would you rate your favorite CL's, taking into account the food offerings, the CM's, etc...

Also, how would you classify each of the CL's?? Like, WL is pretty "woodsy" in their food types (like venison, etc...)...I've read that AKL has some African inspired offerings....etc...

Just curious on other's thoughts, thanks!!! (We are currently booked BWI CL for April)! :goodvibes

We've stayed at 3 so far....and will make it 4 this weekend!
So far...here's how I feel.

#3- Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kilimanjaro Club
There is nothing wrong with this CL. I just liked the other experiences more. I like that the lounge itself is a loft overlooking the lobby. The lounge is big, has plenty of seating, and the food was great. Being close to the immense ceiling of the lobby was great! The main reason it's number 3 for me, is that (and this has been discussed to death on the boards) the rooms are no where near the lounge. We had to walk down a very long hallway, and ride up 2 floors on the elevator to get to the lounge.

#2- Grand Floridian- Royal Palm Club
We were upgraded to this room and it's what got us hooked on CL. Being in the main building at the GF was an absolute dream come true! We loved the room, the view and being very close to the monorail, all the restaurants, and the CL lounge itself. It was pracically perfect! Why #2 and not #1? I found the CL staff to be a little stuffy. I now the GF is constantly accused of being stuffy, but I want to say that we've visited this hotel on every trip and found all waitstaff, check-in employees, groundskeepers, store employees, and housekeepers to be nothing but delightful. It was only the desk employees at the RPC that we found to be a little high-and-mighty.

#1- Boardwalk- Inkeeper's Club
I can't say enough about this experience! I think the first thing to say is that I've stayed at 10 WDW hotels and I've never stayed at one resort more than once, but one week from today, we're checking back in at BWI and the Innkeeper's Club. That should say a lot. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are fresh and clean. We had a Boardwalk view that was to DIE for. We love all the restaurant choices and transportation was no better or worse than at any other resort. What makes this our number one is the CL staff though. They were conversational when we wanted to be...left us alone to talk when they sensed that that's what we wanted, were accomodating, were kind, always had a genuine smile and kind word, and Jackie and Scott in particular became good friends! I can't recommend it enough!

We've only tried 3 CLs and I would rank them as follows:

#1 - GF RPC
#2 - WL CL (although this runs a very close second to RPC ;))
#3 - GF SL

I didn't care for SL and really have no interest in doing that CL again, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to RPC and WL :goodvibes. The SL offerings are the same as RPC, but I didn't like the lounge and although I didn't have much interaction with the CMs there, they didn't seem as "connected" with the guests as the CMs in RPC. We are trying YC CL and Poly CL in July 2013 and if we are able to make a quick trip this December, we are going to try AKL CL. I'm excited to see how those compare to the WL and GF :).

1. GF RPC
2. AKL
3. BWI
4. GF SL
5. YC
6. BC

I don't think any of WDW's club levels compare to the concierge experiences I have had at other resorts in other locations.

Wow! That's a ringing endorsement for the Innkeeper's Club! :goodvibes
We are pretty excited to give it a shot for sure!

We've stayed at 6 of the 8 deluxes so far ... my personal ranking is as follows:

#1 - WL CL (this is also my favorite deluxe resort so I'm a little biased)
#2 - GF RPC (this runs a very close second to WL )
#3 - BC (pretty much tied with YC)
#4 - YC (pretty much tied with BC)
#5 - BWI (nice, but no refrigerator for drinks ... they have an ice bucket. It's also a long walk from the elevator
#6 - AKL (the evening offerings were a bit on the exotic side for me)

We've stayed at 3-all good, by the way

1. YC, love the view, the balconies, the atmosphere!
2. AKL, the club level is wonderful, the distance from the lounge not so great.
3. BWI, We liked it there, but prefer Stormalongbay. Guess my toes just need to be in sand.

Hoping to try WL and GF one of these days!

This is a tough one, MM. I think it is hard to seperate your club thoughts from the actual hotel thoughts...

1. Best Club - YC. Nice set up, great secure floor - keyed access from the elevator to the 5th floor.Super nice staff...Food is same as BC - decent amount of seafood - lobster salad, scalllops/bacon, etc. I love SAB so this really gives YC the edge to me overall.

2. BWI Club.Love the staff, love the size of the lounge. No secured floor, half the floor is club half is not. A few club rooms are outside the locked glass doors so I don't like that. Views are very pretty from BWI Club. Even their lame ESPN sattelite view is way better than a YC BC standard view. teh decor here is pretty but I prefer the look of the rooms to YC. Feels old fashion at BWI but that is totally the theme so it fits...Food was very good, can't remember what it was but we liked it!!!

3. BC CL - distant distant 3rd which might suprise some considering they share the same food and pool as YC! Lounge is not so hot in my opinion. SMALL. Set up oddly and staff on club is nice..nothing outstanding except for Neil. Love him!!!!

Try it! You will love it!!

#1 BWI- excellent staff, they know your name and greet you with a smile.
#2 YC- very attentive staff, great food. this was a free upgrade and that made it even better
#3 CR- The atrium club was undergoing rehab when we were here but everyone was very nice. We would definitely try it again.
#4 AKL- Was nice, we liked the food but the staff was not too talkative.
#5 BC- NEVER AGAIN! Our room felt very small, and was miles from the elevator. staff was downright rude(not as much as a good morning even after we said good morning) And to make matters worse one of the staff stole my credit card info.:headache:
We are going in Jan 2013 and are hoping for either WL CL or Poly CL trying to decide which one.
