Rate this thread??

After several years on the DIS, I just noticed that at the bottom of threads you can rate the thread . Anyone know what that is for? Maybe it does nothing . I also played around with translating threads into foreign languages. I'm sure there is something much more useful I could or should be doing .

Ok I rated it...I never noticed it either! So, did anything happen?

And if you don't know what it does, please don't start rating (or translating) every thread you read. I can just see it now. It will be all my fault when the DIS has a techno meltdown. Alex will hunt me down for sure .

Nope - I don't see anyplace where ratings show.
