Rate the coasters

I admit I'm a chicken when it comes to coasters and rides that drop. I can do Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain without actually getting sick. I've been on the Mummy ride at Universal without a problem. FORGET Tower of Terror! I know it's no big deal for most people but I CAN"T take those drops! Please rate the remaining coasters...Rockin' Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest. How bad are the drops? Compare them to Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Are they way more intense? A little more intense? Should I just skip them? (I won't be insulted if you tell me I'm a wuss and to just forget about it!) I have an 11 year old grandson who will definitely want to try them both. I know he'll offer to skip them because he knows how I feel about coasters. We've been through this before. If I don't go, he won't go, even though he has no fear of going alone. He just hates to leave me out of anything we do together. If at all possible, I'd like to try them out with him. Advice please!

I'm the same as you - love thrill rides but hate drops. I've done Tower twice and won't do it again, but I love everything else. The drop on Splash is borderline for me, but I can do it. Rockin Roller Coaster is just fast - no big drops but you do go upside down a few times. LOVE it! Everest is kind of between Thunder and Rockin - only one drop and it's about the same as Splash but you curve at the end so it's not as intense a stomach-dropping feeling. I really really loved Everest - it's my new favorite ride!

My advice is, try everything at least once. If you don't like it, you'll know, and you never have to ride again. But if you never try it, you may be missing out on something you'd love.

EE is the best ever, loved it. Can't wait until next week to ride it again...

I'm the opposite of you. I love the tummy tickling feeling I get on drops. I think I'd rate them as follows:

RNR- take off really tickles my tummy. Take off is the "scarriest" part. I absolutely love this ride!

TOT- if the drop would have been all the way down and all the way back up, it would be at the top of the list. For my ride, it only dropped a little way repeatedly and it wasn't as "bad" as I had expected.

Splash Mountain - Love the drop!

EE - the drop wasn't as exciting as I'd expected due to the turn at the bottom. My favorite part is when it goes backwards; it felt like I was being "sucked" into the seat. I'd compare it to BTMRR on a larger scale.

Space Mountain & BTMRR are both very tame to me.

Hope that helps!
