I will be staying at the BCV in August. I would like to hear what you thought of it and suggestions on what to do to enjoy my stay more.:jester:

Beautiful resort, best pool on property. You didn't say what type of accomodations you have, if it's a one or 2 bedroom you have a jacuzzi, kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. You'll love it.

I stayed in 2 different roos at the BCV, a 1 bedroom with a pool view, adn a studio with a woods view.

I prefered the woods view much more over the pool view (although you can see MK fireworks in teh distance from the pool view, I dont htink most people know that! but who is in their room diuring that anyway...? we happende to notice it one night while we were getting ready to go out for diner. (MK fireworks were at 7:15pm that night)

for fun, go in storm a long bay! the best pool ever, (and I am not a pool person normally!)

have a great time :) the BCV are beautiful!

Loved it!
Our home resort is the Boardwalk Villas, but we decided to see
if we could get space last New Year's week -had no problem
We were in room 465 which looks ESE -we had a great view of
Spaceship Earth out of our bedroom balcony. Our living room balcony
also looked that way, but also had a view of World Showcase off
about 30deg to the right. We could see Illiuminations from our
balcony, which became necessary New Year's eve when it poured
from about 8:30 till very late! the only negative about our room
is that it looked out over the canal and the road that connects all
the Epcot resorts (YC/BC/BCV/Swan/Dolphin) FYI, the picture on
the WDW website from the BCV (bedroom) is almost EXACTLY our
view that we had. Get up HIGH if you want a view towards Epcot

You use the same entrance for check-in as the YC regular rooms,
and then go down a hallway towards a seperate entrance to
the Villas via a breezeway. The Drawing Room and the Solarium
are new public spaces put in place at the same time the Villas
were built. They're nice spaces to go and sit and relax if you want
to leave the villa for a while (like while the DD's and the DW snooze) The walk to EC is very easy, you just go out the outside of
the BCV and BC to a gate at the far east end of the Beach Club
resort.

The rooms are laid out very much like the Boardwalk Villas, and
very well equipped. We really love the fact that if you have a
1or 2 bedroom villa you get a full kitchen -we've used that before
on other trips to the BWV. There are two elevators at the
beginning of the BCV complex, and one more about 1/2 way in..
sounds like the WDW designers listened to guests complaining
about the long walk to the elevators...

We've already decided when we get more points, we're going to
try and get them at the BCV. We were very happy with the resort
overall....

Welcome to the Dis, MonorailDude! Did anyone inform you that the monorail does not go to the BCV resort?! ;)

Seriously, I had the BEST time during my BCV stay last Fall. What a glorious resort (in my humble opinion). My daughter and I stayed in a studio room on the top floor:
click here to see some of our BCV photos. My favorite photo, however, is this one: click here to view it.

My favorite BC activity was just floating 'round & 'round in the main pool's "whirlpool." I had a ball doing that (and hated it when my daughter made me leave the whirlpool so that I could join her for swimming in the rest of the pool complex, drats!).
