Rate some graphics I made please.

I was looking at the kid rock picture in my sig, and I got an idea.

...kept it simple. Extreemly simple. Like, paint simple, but when you take in the fact that it was made on paint, I like it.

I'm a graphic artist, and those are great for being made in mspaint. On a scale of 1-10, 9 at least.

i can't use paint for crap. too oversimplified for me, which makes it complicated. hope that made sense. i always have to use Photoshop or I'm dead.

The only thing I don't like about it is the picture of Kid Rock. Seems a little jagged to me. I don't know if that happened when I re-sized the picture in paint or what. I'm going to try it again today on photoshop. See how it turns out. I'm also going to see if I can find a good text for the Willie Nelson picture in my sig.

i'm guessing that's what happened Mike. i've noticed pictures do that when you're using a program like paint or MW. on photoshop, it will probably turn out better.

I noticed that also, but that happens a lot with mspaint. It can't handle small details, so it pixilates (makes round corners square) and thats what makes it look jagged. Try again with photoshop. For text maybe you could do an overlay of your favorite song by him and fade it out. I'd try that over the black and brown part, but not his face. maybe a scritpure type font?

Yes. What I meant is a good looking font for some text I'm going to put in.

I also asked for critisism on another board, with just AMAZING graphics artists. They said that it's alright. They said if I fixed the picture of Kid Rock it would be better. Basically, it's so incredably simple, there really is nothing to complain about, and no real way to screw it up. One of them was like, "White text on a black background. Can't f*** that up."

idk what you could use on that, but there are tons of good font sites out there. i used to spend hours just downloading cool fonts & stuff.

If you're looking for criticism, try daz3d.com, but they are really more 3d art, than photoediting, but there are some amazing people there. tehy could really help you.
