Rate Question

Does anyone know why I would be quoted a greater rate over the phone than what is online. I booked free dining at the WL and online my total is $4,452 for my length of stay and when I booked the deal, the CM gave me a total of $4,677. That is a $225 difference!

Does anyone know a reason why that would be??

Maybe the trip ins was added to the CM quote and you didn't add it?

That could be. It also looks like maybe he added the waterpark option which I said I didn't want. If I plug in the reservation with the waterpark option, it is about one dollar off the quote he gave me? I guess I should call!

The water parks are one and the insurance. I know when I booked yesterday I was quoted about $150 more over the phone than on the site, when I asked about it the CM said "did you include trip ins.?" I said no and that I didn't want it at this time and he then quoted me what I was seeing on the website.

Another price difference could be the preferred room rate versus the regular room rate. I kept getting CM's that added that on and told me the regular room rate wasn't available. After checking online and finding it, I called back and got it changed...it took a little work and talking to a supervisor.

Before I called yesterday morning, I had the numbers up on the website. The CM quoted a much higher price than I knew it should be, he had included trip insurance, water view room, and park hoppers. After I asked him to remove all of those the quoted price was right on the money. Oh, a pun!

Are you including the tax on the room?
