lol yes since one equals a half, so 2 would equal 1 pirate lol.

and my rating..i saw it last night.. and the only thing i didnt like was how it left you hanging at the end but they always like doing that to you lol, cant wait for the 3rd one now..

Speaking as one who loves her Pirate, I must confess....I did like the first one better. The second was a little too 'silly'. I think the first POTC movie was better balanced and a bit more believable.

I also didn't like that Elizabeth could swordfight as well as seasoned Will.

Note to parents: the second is a little more graphic. Not bloody exactly, but from the opening scene - it is definitely PG13.

Just me humble pirate's opinion. ARRRRR!!!

Finally saw it last night. Lots of it was dark, violent and unpleasant.

But I would give it 4 1/2 pirates for eye candy for the ladies.

It started a little slow for me. I thought it was going to dissapoint.

It didn't! Me, DH and DS(8) all loved it! The funny thing is all the negative parts we had heard about it, were our favorite! The fight at the end? Terrific!

Just saw it this week while on vacation. It was a bit long and even tho Captain Sparrow is awesome, I agree with the one poster who thought Sparrow was just a little bit too silly in this one.

2.5 for me.

Took my son and a friend of his yesterday. They liked it.

I thought the movie went overboard (pun not intended) on the special
effects, and trying to make everyone as grimy as possible that they forgot about the story.

After watching the movie, I felt this incredible need to go brush my teeth.

I think the actors were a little too self aware..."oohhh we're going to be in the biggest anticipated sequel...aren't we such cool, special actors" attitude was apparent. Reminded me of M*A*S*H and it's later episodes where all the characters were overdoing it...where they all started acting like Hawkeye....
if you know what I'm talking about, this will make sense, if not, I'm sure you're going "huh?"
