I voted great (8). I love the layout of the lobby, the sparkly floor, the shadowboxes. I love the general theming of the resort and how new and fresh everything feels there. I loved all the little touches- dancing CMs (I know they have to HATE that, though) and great trivia sprinkled around the resort.

My only complaint is room and bed size- but it's a value resort on Disney property and I can usually book it for what I'd expect to pay at a Motel 6-- so, can't really complain.

I rated it 'excellent'. I have stayed at Pop a couple of times and love it. Obviously, you can't compare the room amenities to a deluxe resort. This is a value resort and for the money, I would say it is well worth it! The food court/gift shop is awesome and the decor is fun stuff. We normally get a couple of adjoining (sp?) rooms and it is plenty of space for us. Of course, I dont worry too much about the room as we never seem to spend much time there except to sleep, shower and get ready to go. If you are looking for luxury... go for a mod or deluxe. This is great for families on a budget who still want the benefits of staying on Disney property.

The only probably that we had.. Was our bathroom smelled like pot. >.< I guess someone was smoking in another room and it went through the vents. It was a real fawl smell too. :l

But that wasn't there fault.

I voted excellent. Problem is that I don't have anything else to compare it to. That was my first time staying onsite but we loved the resort. It provided everything we needed and it was very clean. We will be staying there again when we go back in 2009.

I voted 'very great'. I love it there, my dh doesn't. But, he's a resort snob, so he doesn't count. I'm headed there in 7 days, with my 31 y/o dd who has never been to WDW before. We stay there for two nights and then move over to BWV. I own DVC there, but it I'm not there (or at another DVC resort) you will always find me at POP. Now, my family is small...it's basically myself, my dh, and my 14 y/o dd that would stay there. It's plenty big enough for me. The food court is one of my favorite things. I love just walking around the resort. I like the general feel to POP. It's alive and happy.

Does it have hot tubs? Are there pool slides? Are the great restaurants? Are there hallways vs outside doors? No, no, no, no. But, I don't mind those things. I don't use the hot tubs at the deluxe resorts, the pool slides are fine but not having one is not a deal breaker for us. I tend to eat my 'good' meals at other spots (parks and deluxe resorts) and I have never felt unsafe walking to my room with the doorway on the outside vs a hallway.

It's all about expectations. POP is not for everyone. I actually like it better than the AllStars but there are those who will disagree with me.

What I love about POP is how nicely it's kept and it's such a great value for the money. Three pools, a wonderful gift shop, the food court (we didn't eat there) and the bus service seemed very prompt and efficient. There's little touches like having sidewalk chalk outside the main building for the kids to draw with. We had a room in the Mickey phone building (70's building) with a view of the lake. Wonderful!

We LOVED our Pop stay last April and are looking forward to staying there again in March and December this year before moving to the Poly.

If I have to stay value, which is usual for Halloween time. I stay at the POP. It is the best value resort, and the location to the parks is great.

I voted great, because if the mods are at a discount, I will stay at CB or POR.

We were there for our kids first trip (almost 3 & almost 5) in May 2006 & loved it. In fact, we went for a long weekend trip that November & stayed at Port Orleans Riverside (my sister & her family of 5 couldn't stay at Pop), & my kids kept asking when they were going back to the other hotel. Our rooms were cleaner (& newer of course) at Pop.

We're getting ready to plan another trip & will be staying at Pop without any hesitation. The water jet area for the kids was great too. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because the rooms are a little small (but really, who cares) & as someone else pointed out, we were always the farthest bus stop to walk to & from each park, but I guess someone has to be at the end. I will say that the bus service from Pop was MUCH BETTER than Port Orleans.

Having stayed at All Star Sports, All Star Music and Pop.. I much prefer Pop Century to the other values.

I find the themeing is more fun and I prefer some of the choices available in the foodcourt at Pop (frozen coke or tie dye cheesecake anyone?).

If you want to compare Pop Century to an off-site resort, I find that you can get more for your money offsite - yes that's true - but I prefer to stay on-site and not deal with driving and rental cars etc.

To each their own.

My family loved pop ( well my mom and dad preferred the suite at ASM).

We didnt spend much time in the room so we had plenty of room for the 4 of us.

We liked the food court and while it was busy some mornings no more so than some places we go for breakfast around here

Never felt like we had a long walk to anything

Bus service was pretty efficient. We did wait but not overly long amounts of time.

Loved the theming

Plan on staying there again.
