Rate drops?

If I book now through Disney.com for my April trip, can I get a better rate if they drop if I call. I hope this question makes sense, I'm sick .

I have done that on several occasions and they have even applied my reservation payment, alowing me to have a credit when I arrive.

Thank you for replying. This was one of those things that you are almost sure about, but would kick you in the tush if you had it wrong.

If you have a credit when you arrive, is it applied to your room card towards charging privilages?

Unless you pay for your ressie in full the down pmt is usually one days stay. Your credit would be for the rack rate instead of the discount rate which means you wouldn't owe as much when you arrive. (I hope that made sense.)

I have done this many times too without any hassle. You just need to tell them that you want to modify an existing reservation and tell them the code. They will likely make a new reservation for you with the new rate.

One word of caution though. I would make the reservations over the phone if you are thinking you will need to modify later (not an internet reservation with Disney.com). The only "problem" I have ever had is when I booked an internet reservation and then tried to modify it over the phone. The CRS's didn't know how to handle it and I had to talk to at least one supervisor to accomplish my mission.

Okay, thanks for the heads up. I'll call Disney directly. I can't find on-line availability for the resort I want, anyway (ASMo), so I guess I need to talk to a real-live person to figure out my options. I HATE talking on the phone, though! It's like my brain goes out the window.
