On another forum I'm on we have one of this and I thought why not have one here :) Theres no limit to how many albums you can rate and review...unless you listened to 100 CD's in one day then there is haha.

Ningyou Shoukan - Velvet Eden
An amazing mini-album from this Japanese Darkwave band. The compositions of Kalm are amazing. The only bad point of the album is DaDa uses a weird distortion effect on his voice, while sometimes this works other times it doesn't.
Favourite Tracks: Ikei Hime, Circus Byou
8/10

Street of Alice - Velvet Eden
Amazing first (and last) album. Kalm's songwriting has improved vastly and his music shines so much better on here than on Ningyou Shoukan. DaDa dropped the distortion effect and his singing is good, though the distortion effect does makes its return in the song "Doomed Love" but it is used effectively in the song.
Favourite Tracks: Doomed Love, Maze, La Fin
9/10

The Script - The Script
Well, as like most people on here know, I'm like obsessed! I just like love all the songs 'cause they rock and I play them like constantly hehe. :goodvibes
Fave tracks: Breakeven and Talk You Down
10/10

Taylor Swift - Fearless
I think this is like my second fave album :] I love just like pretty much all of the songs even though some of them are quite sad.
Fave tracks: Breathe, You're Not Sorry and Forever & Always
9/10

Kings of Leon - Only By The Night
I don't love this album but I like it. I always play it in the car (:
Fave tracks: Revelry, 17 and Use Somebody
7/10

I usually don't listen/have whole albums unless they're movie soundtracks.

Doctor Who - Series 3 (Original television soundtrack) - BBC National Orchestra of Wales
I do love all movie soundtracks, they're my favorite. It has very good switching between moods and sometimes it's pretty funny how one song can be light and fluffy and the next is like something is about to eat you. It's more fun when you watch the show, it has very dramatic notes, but tells a story. I love it.
Favorite Tracks: This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home. The Doctor Forever. Boe.
9/10

Gladiator (Original motion picture soundtrack.) -Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerrard
Favorite soundtrack ever. Gerrard's voice is excellent and stunning. The music is gorgeous.
Favorite Tracks: Elysium, Now we are free.
10/10!

New Vogue Children - Schwarz Stein
Well I'm obsessed with this band like anything, Kaya's vocals are the best bit as in the song Queen of Decadence when he does that Acapella part it sends chills down my spine. Hora is an amazing songwriter he never over does it, he never under does it either.
Favourite Tracks: Rise To Heaven, Queen of Decadence, New Vogue Children
10/10

Bad Brains
Bad Brains

Whoah. This album's amazing; probably one of my favorite hardcore punk albums, next to Damaged by Black Flag. I've been playing it over & over again on my iPod, I think this deserves a 9/10. Bad Brains are awesome <3

Favorite Tracks: Sailin' On, Fearless Vampire Killers (AMAZING intro), & Attitude.

Best of Sixpence none the Richer - Sixpence none the Richer

great songs. leigh nash has a unique and interesting voice. i love this album.

favourite tracks: kiss me, there she goes, i need love, angeltread.

9/10

Albertine - Brooke Fraser

brooke fraser has an incredible range and is very skilled. very meaningful songs. i was amazed when i first heard this album, it was almost as if she had taken my thoughts and turned them into songs.

favourite tracks: deciphering me, faithful, c.s. lewis song

10/10

Satanic Panic in the Attic
by Of Montreal

It's pretty fantastic. The songs are varied, yet flow very fluidly. The vocals and the instrumentals balance well.

Favorite songs: City Bird, Sad Love, Disconnect The Dots, Your Magic is Working

9/10

Vs. Children
by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone

New album from Casiotone from the Painfully Alone. Probably one of my favorite albums by them. Perfection as usual, with a hint of what is heard in my favorite song by them Lonesome New Mexican Nights from their 7".

Favorite Songs: Harsh The Herald Angels Sing, You Were Alone, Traveling Saleman's Young Wife Home Alone on Christmas in Montpelier, VT

8/10

Outside Love
by Pink Mountaintops

One word to describe this album: Epic. The album actually comes out in May, but it's one of my top played albums of all time already.

Favorite Songs: My favorite is While We Were Dreaming, but everything on this album is fantastic.

10/10

Word Gets Around.
Stereophonics.

Amaze'.
My favourite album by them, along with JEEP.
This beats all, hands down. :teeth:
10/10!

Favourite Songs : Thousand Trees, More Life in a Tramps Vest, Local Boy in the Photograph, Traffic, Billy Davey's Daughter.

The Script- The Script
I actually love this album, all the songs on there are great. The lyrics on every song have a meaning to them.

10/10

Favourite Songs: The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Before the Worst, Rusty Halo and Breakeven

Lonely Road--The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

9/10. Not as good as their first album (Don't You Fake It) but still very good. A lot less screaming in this one, which I missed, but the songs are well written.

Best songs: Godspeed, Represent, Step Right Up

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don't Forget--Demi Lovato
9.5/10. Very good debut album. Pop without being bubblegum pop. (Her next album is reported to be darker) Songs are relateable.
Best songs: On the Line, Believe In Me, Trainwreck
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Spring Awakening--Spring Awakening OBC (Original Broadway Cast)

1000000000/10. AMAZING! Such talent! Such beautiful songs! New favorite musical right here.

Best Songs: Dark I Know Well, Left Behind, Song of Purple Summer, Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Producers--The Producers OBC (Original Broadway Cast)
9/10. Pretty good, but it doesn't compare to the stage show. Hardly anything is lost between the stage and the recording, but the vocals aren't as powerful as I'd like them.
Best Songs: Keep It Gay, Der Guten Tag Hop Clop, When You Got It Flaunt It
Amy Macdonald--This Is The Life.
8/10 . Surprisingly good--I had heard the first couple of songs on the radio and thought I'd give the whole thing a chance, mostly thinking it'd be one of those things where only the two songs you got on the radio are any good. But it isn't. all the songs are real good, both music and lyrics, I love her voice, and this is just an all around great record! I recommend this album!
punk goes pop 2
not as good as i expected from the punk goes... series. punk goes crunk was an amazing record but pop goes pop 2 was a real letdown. the song selection for the covers were actually good ones, but the bands stuck with the original song too much IMO (unlike the devil wears prada's cover of still fly). i tried to listen to the entire album but i eventually got sick of all the generic pop-punk sound. there were a few songs that stood out but nothing really special. punk goes crunk is still the best from the punk goes... series. proly wouldn't recommend this record to anyone. if you like punk covers of chart toppers, i suggest getting punk goes crunk instead.
awesome tracks: a static lullaby - toxic, august burns red - baby one more time, a day to remember - over my head (cable car), mayday parade - when i grow up, silverstein - apologize
the others were horrible.
4/10
