Hi guys,
Time for another Disney Trip. We went in Christmas of 2006, and we have saved up for another trip. We want to get the DDP, and we don't care about missing school.

Is Sept. the cheapest time to go and also get the DDP?

Right now we are looking at All-Star Sports for 5 nights.

Thanks,
Matthew

Well right now you can get free DDP in Sept. I believe that ASSp is still available with the Free DDP promo. If you really want to splurge go for the Deluxe DDP.

Or you could try for January. Disney has had a room discount (about 25%) and free ticket upgrades (PH & WPM) the last 2 years for January and Early Feb.

Anytime in the value season has the lowest room rate.

Thanks for the response!

What does the deluxe DDP provide? Wife LOVES the DDP.

Thanks,
Matthew

Sept. falls into one of the value seasons (value from 8/3 - 10/1).

Free dining (basic plan) is offered from 8/24 - 9/20.

To recieve this discount package, you must book by June 22.

If interested, you need to call right away. Availability is very limited and this offer has been open to the general public since 4/10. Try being very flexible with your dates and resort choice.

*To receive the free dining offer... you must follow the "free dining links" at the Disney site or ask for it when calling to book.

You can upgrade to the Deluxe plan by paying the difference of what the cost would be between the basic and deluxe plans... $32 for adults and $10 for children.

On the deluxe plan, you receive 3 meals and 3 snacks, per person for each night of your stay.

(The basic dining plan has always been enough for our family. Besides, my husband and children would never want to spend that much time in restaurants, they would rather be on in the parks, seeing the attractions.)

The pp gave you all the info on the Deluxe DDP, but those 3 meals re not categorized by Table Service or Counter Service. So in theory you can get 3 table service meals a day for $32 a day. You can't even eat CS for that price.

But like the PP said, book now so you can make your ADR's for Table service asap!!! A lot rest. are already filling up!!!

Good Luck!!

On the deluxe plan I believe you receive a refillable mug too. Last year were went in Sept with the regular dining. We found this to be more than enough food for us. We saved desserts that we couldn't finish and had a number of snack credits left on the last day and redeemed them for snacks on the way home. We also had a CS coupon each and had a lunch packed too.

Regardless of what you do, call now to get the free dining!!

3 meals, 2 snacks, and the refillable mugs. Also appetizers.

And yes, you will need to do it immediately because the values are pretty much all but booked up for free dining.
