Rate A Blog!

We've seen rate the sig, rate the avatar, rate th profile, so why not rate the blog?

The idea is the same as the other "Rate a ____", you look at the blog of the person above you (Maybe, if it's there's too many posts, then just look at the first few.)

If it's not on the front page then you can either place it there through the "Add Block" menu or just check the "Blog" section.

What are we rating? The style of typing? How many words? Some people just don't have much to say. Unlike you, I keep my blog to the point

Just your opinion on whatever it may be that's been blogged about, choice of words, spelling and grammar. That kind of thing. And I do keep my blog posts relevent to a general topic, it's just rather... long.

Blogs have their own section, that doesn't have anything to do with the Profile. You can put blog posts in the Profile, but it's not directly part of it.

While it may be a different page, the "Rate the Profile Above you!" thread is being based on all the pages you have in that little area.

Time for Exhibit A: When you click on someone to go to their profile, it takes you directly to the profile page, and from there you can access all the other parts to it. Why wouldn't it have another part for the blogs? Because the blogs are accessed through your profile. Some people have their blogs on their profile page through a certain block that allows you to do so (such as me).

Besides, if we would be rating blogs above us, Shadow would be giving people 1/10 for not using proper spelling/grammer...

Also, one of the reasons I posted this was so that other peoples ideas and such can be heard by others, not just a select few. but I guess that's beside the point.

My point here is that, in doesn't matter if you can view it through the profile, it's not PART of the profile.

There's an entire other page just for a blog, that makes it not part of the profile, which has it's own little section.

I made this with the intent of it being a serious addition to the Rate-A series. If it was a joke I'd be spamming the entire thread with "LOLZ YUS GOT 0\/\/l\l3l)."

But I'm not.

The way I see it is this:

If you are going to rate a profile, you are clumping a large spectrum of things into one category. I am not saying EVERYTHING should get a Rate-A, but I think a blog is special. A blog is a way to get your ideas out there. For the world to know what you are thinking about things. It's unique to each and every person, and a Rate-A could be a way to get peoples opinions on your opinions (sounds weird, I know.) A blog is an identity, it is you. It is your soul being washing through your fingers, through the keyboard, through your computer, and on to the 'net. I just figured it'd be, you know, a good idea. Whatever, flame, if that's what you want. I can take the fires of whatever it is you have to throw at me, but I will continue to stand strong. Flame away, pl0x.

BTW, anyone who feels a need to correct any issues with my spelling or grammar:

I am aware that "pl0x" is not a word, but my choice of words is a part of my identity. Do not bother correcting me, as it will fall on deaf ears. I need not people to cut away at my posts because I didn't cross my "T"s and dot my "I"s. If you can read my post then it is good enough.

I have snapped. I have grown weary of the flame fights, the constant deafing blows of the cannons of others firing away at other peoples ideas, and the constant destruction of each other for the sake of proving you are right. Will you believe me to be a madman?
